Nicole went for her 12-week checkup today with Dr. Bush.  Everything is proceeding just fine.  BabyCenter.com has an article about the growth of the babies at this point- it explains what’s developed and what is still being developed.

We didn’t know that he was going to do another sonogram today, but he did (images below).  I guess he’s doing more than normal since there are two.  As you can see from the images below, they’re getting bigger.  They’re three inches long each, which is larger than what is expected at 12 weeks.

We go back to doc again at 16 weeks- actually, the day after Thanksgiving. If anyone happens to be in town for the holidays, you’re more than welcome to be a part of that. Dr. Bush said he hopes to be able to see whether it’s boys, girls, or boy and girl at that time. Anyone want to start a pool?

By the way, I don’t know that we’ve shared names with everyone. If it’s boys: Axl Hardy and Winston Jagger. If it’s girls: Lucy Channing and Jillian Autumn. If it’s boy and girl: Winston Hardy and Jillian Autumn.
